Founder and Chief Executive Officer, SaveMyFat
Oscar Tellez is the founder and CEO of SaveMyFat. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University. Over more than a decade in the regenerative medicine industry, he has worked across product distribution, laboratory and vendor relationships, and provider training, which gave him a close, practical view of how adipose tissue banking actually works, who it involves, and where patients and providers most often have questions.
He founded SaveMyFat to connect patients and providers with a compliant, U.S.-based tissue bank and to make that process clearer and simpler. His focus is education first: helping people understand what adipose tissue banking is, what the current science does and does not support, and how the FDA framework applies, so they can make informed decisions with their own licensed providers.
Education. Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, Florida Atlantic University.
Industry experience. More than a decade across the regenerative medicine industry, including product distribution, laboratory and vendor relationships, and provider training.
Areas of focus. Adipose tissue banking, the FDA framework for human cells and tissues (HCT/Ps), and patient and provider education.
Oscar leads the educational content at SaveMyFat. Articles are written to reflect current FDA guidance and are reviewed on a regular basis. SaveMyFat is a connector: it links patients and providers with a U.S.-based tissue bank and does not collect, process, store, or provide treatments itself.
