# Built For People Who Plan Ahead.

SaveMyFat connects you with a U.S.-based tissue bank so you can preserve your own adipose (fat) tissue today. It stays documented and available in case you and a licensed physician ever explore a future FDA-regulated pathway. Banking is preservation, not treatment.

## What This Page Covers

This page explains who SaveMyFat is and how we work. SaveMyFat is a connector: we link patients and providers with a U.S.-based tissue bank that collects, processes, and cryopreserves your own adipose (fat) tissue. We are not a clinic, not a laboratory, and not a treatment provider. Our focus is making adipose tissue banking simple, U.S.-based, and compliant, so you can preserve your own tissue now for potential future use in lawful, FDA-regulated pathways.

**Key takeaways:**

- SaveMyFat connects you and your provider with a U.S.-based tissue bank. It does not collect, process, or store tissue itself.
- Banking is preservation, not treatment. It is not FDA-approved therapy and makes no promise of future benefit.
- Founded by Oscar Tellez, who brings more than a decade of regenerative medicine industry experience (not a clinician).
- Our educational content is built on FDA guidance, peer-reviewed research, and public clinical trial registries.
- Any future medical decision is between you and your own licensed physician.

**Important:** SaveMyFat connects patients and providers with a U.S.-based tissue bank for adipose tissue banking. SaveMyFat does not collect, process, or store tissue itself, and it does not provide treatments or cures for any disease or medical condition. Most adipose-derived cell products that are more than minimally manipulated are regulated as biologics and are not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Banking your tissue today does not guarantee eligibility, access, or clinical benefit from any future therapy or clinical trial. This page is educational and is not medical advice. Talk with your own licensed healthcare provider about any medical decision.

Driven By Science

## SCIENCE IS ADVANCING.
WE HELP YOU PREPARE.

People who follow regenerative medicine often hear about new research and wonder how to prepare. SaveMyFat exists to make one specific thing simple and compliant: connecting you and your provider with a U.S.-based tissue bank that can collect, process, and cryopreserve your own adipose tissue. We do not provide treatments, and we do not promise that stored tissue will ever be used in your care. Any future use would depend on FDA decisions and your physician’s judgment.

If you want to understand the rules we work within, see our guide to [FDA regulation of adipose tissue](https://savemyfat.com/fda-regulation-adipose-tissue/) and our [compliant marketing standards](https://savemyfat.com/compliant-marketing-standards/). Physicians can visit the [physician resource center](https://savemyfat.com/physician-resource-center/).

## Why Patients Consider Adipose Tissue Banking

01

Decades of Research. Limited Access.

Adipose-derived and mesenchymal stromal cells have been studied in many registered clinical trials worldwide. This research is largely early stage and investigational. It is not proof that any therapy is safe, effective, or FDA-approved. Until recently, most people had no simple way to preserve their own tissue while the science develops.

02

One-and-Done Was the Only Model.

Traditional approaches often collect tissue for a single same-day procedure, with no option to store material for later. Once it is used or discarded, it is gone.

03

We Asked a Simple Question.

What if you could collect your adipose tissue once, store multiple vials under controlled conditions in the United States, and keep your own biological material documented, without any promise of treatment, so the choice stays yours and your physician's in the future?

04

So We Built It

SaveMyFat connects you with U.S. laboratories and providers who collect, process, and cryopreserve your own adipose tissue under strict standards. We coordinate the connection; we do not collect, process, or store tissue ourselves. Everything is framed around education and compliance, not treatment claims.

## What SaveMyFat Is, and What It Is Not

SaveMyFat is a facilitator. A partner provider collects a small amount of your own fat tissue, a U.S.-based tissue bank processes and cryopreserves it, and it is stored for the long term. SaveMyFat’s role is to connect you and your provider with that bank and coordinate the process. We do not collect, process, or store tissue ourselves.

SaveMyFat is not a treatment provider. We do not diagnose conditions, do not offer stem cell injections, and do not promise that banked tissue will treat or cure anything. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulates human cells and tissues under [21 CFR Part 1271](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-21/chapter-I/subchapter-L/part-1271). Cells that are more than minimally manipulated, or used for a different function than they serve in the body, are regulated as biologics that require FDA approval before they may be marketed to treat disease. The FDA’s [consumer alert on regenerative medicine products](https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/consumers-biologics/consumer-alert-regenerative-medicine-products-including-stem-cells-and-exosomes) explains this in more detail.

What We Do Differently

## Built Around You And Your Physician.

U.S.-Based Labs

FDA-Registered Labs

Your Own Adipose Tissue

Does SaveMyFat sell stem cell treatments?

No. We do not market stem cell procedures or unapproved interventions, and we do not provide treatments or cures for any condition. Our role is limited to tissue banking and education. Any medical decision is between you and a licensed physician.

Why does SaveMyFat exist?

People who follow regenerative medicine often ask how to prepare in case future, lawful options become available. SaveMyFat connects you and your provider with a U.S.-based tissue bank so your own tissue can be preserved while the science develops. Preservation is not a promise of treatment.

Can one collection store tissue for me and my family?

A single collection can yield many vials that may be stored for years. Under some policies and regulations, eligible first-degree relatives may be considered in the future. Eligibility is not guaranteed and depends on the pathway and the rules in place at that time.

Where is tissue processed and stored?

Our partner processing and storage facilities are located in the United States and are expected to comply with applicable FDA tissue-handling standards. There is no overseas shipping. SaveMyFat connects you with these facilities; it does not process or store tissue itself.

How does SaveMyFat handle the science?

Our educational materials draw on peer-reviewed studies, public clinical trial registries such as ClinicalTrials.gov, and official regulatory resources from the FDA. We describe research honestly, including its limits, and we do not overstate what is known.
